The choir interweaves their parts, giving the men an opportunity to shine accompanied with a simplified piano that supports the parts. Enjoy. 🙂

God So Loved the World – Song 28 in LDS Choirbook adapted for Mezzo Soprano

I was asked to adapt this Easter song and lower the soprano line in key measures for the ease of the choir performance – the congregational choir only has mezzos, singing an ‘F’ and a ‘G’ is a strain for them.

I kept the music in the same key and count – I changed the temp to 86, to ensure a more prayerful tone. There are a few notes changed in the altos and mens parts to keep the music flowing.  It is easy music, a choir can run through it a few times and learn it.  Enjoy 🙂
